Directions: Take 85 exit Saratoga. Go through Saratoga and up Highway 9. We'll start the hike at the parking lot at the intersection of highway 9 and 35. You will see the parking on the left at this intersection. We'll make a 8 mile round trip, mostly shaded with some beautiful views at Castle Rock State Park, and we'll end our hike on a section of the Saratoga Gap Trail that runs through private property. Meet at 8:30 a.m.
Carpool is from 4th Street in Saratoga at 8:00 a.m. The parking is located behind the Plumbed Horse restaurant. Take 85 exit Saratoga Avenue. Turn right on 4th Street in the village of Saratoga. The parking lot is at the bottom of the hill on the left hand side.
